I am on a roll...Saturday's are my days of trying all the new stuff! Poor Mac...although he is liking this next one good enough! While roaming through the Tasty Kitchen last week, a feature recipe grabbed my eye. Karly Cambell had a great Deviled Egg Dip that I had to try. I even tried to get my mom to replace our deviled eggs with it for Thanksgiving...she wasn't so happy with the suggestion but it is a WINNER! Her recipe is found Here....but of course, I changed it up some to suit my family's taste buts. Enjoy and give Karly a holler..and tell her how awesome she is.
P.S. Good football food...
P.S.S Also a great egg salad sammie stuff!
Ingredients
Six eggs
Eight Slices of Bacon crumbled up (You can use Turkey Bacon too!)
3/4 cup Light Mayo
3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 tsp Paprika (And then some on top when it's done for pretties!)
1 1/2 tbsp. Sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. White Wine Vinegar
2 1/2 tbsp. Mustard
1 pack of whole wheat Ritz (Or whatever your using to dip into it!)
Boil your eggs and when they are done, drain and pour into a bowl of ice. (Because I am impatient and it cools those eggs fast!)
While the eggs cool, cook your bacon up and then crumble up into pieces.
Toss together the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, add bacon....chop up eggs or mash up, depending on the way you like your dips. I like a little chunky egg stuff.
